Personally designed by Chris the Short Shank Snaffle is a great transition from a snaffle,O or D ring bit. It is ideal for advancing the horse into a leverage bit. The mouthpiece is 5 1/4 " and made of sweet iron with copper inlays to help promote salivation. The shanks are weighted to offer the rider more feel into the corners of the mouth. The shank is 7.5" long and is round to prevent pinching in the corners of the mouth.
