Personally designed by Chris, this signature 5" snaffle feature a unique fixed D ring. This special design helps to pick up the outside of the horse’s mouth toward the direction of the rein (unlike a snaffle whose D or O ring swivels and just slides across the tongue). The special con­tour of the mouthpiece places pressure on the bars of your horse's mouth, not his tongue. It has been Chris' experience that this special bit design discourages a horse from flipping his nose out and encourages them to soften and bend at the poll more readily. Training snaffle features stainless steel floral engraved fixed D Ring and sweet iron mouthpiece. This 3/8" mouthpiece is recommended for most riders. Use of a chin strap with this bit design is optional, as it will not pull through the mouth like a traditional snaffle can. Bit does not include chin strap. **Note: This bit will rust when exposed to moisture and creates a sweet taste in the horse's mouth and promotes salivation.**
