Body Reining: I prefer to think of “body reining” rather than “neck reining” because when I guide my horse I'm not using only the reins on the neck. Guiding involves my whole body (hands, shoulders, seat, legs) and my horse's whole body (neck, shoulder, ribcage, hindquarters) working together to move smoothly in the right direction and at the right speed.

<!--i-->Complete Leather Single Ear Bridle Set w/Shank Snaffle

This attractive and practical bridle set is made with the discriminating rider in mind. This two buckle single ear headstall is made of heavy harness leather, and comes with a floral engraved shanked snaffle, two buckle harness leather chin strap and 5/8" harness leather split reins.

The recent clinic in Tunica, MS was the best thing my wife and I have done since having our twins. I'm not a trainer, roper, or cutter, but still love my horses the same. The bond you have with your horse steps beyond what you breed, what you wear, or you do for a living. You helped me understand that the frustrations I have is due to the things that I don't know, not with my horse. You hit it squarely when you stated that the more you understand, the more you search to know. This weekend, I learned a lot about the mind set of horses, but I think I learned just as much about myself. It is amazing to see that the things we don't understand is often the obvious. It's the human, not the animal that over-complicates things! Perfect weekend!!

p.s. J. Parson was a great addition--loved it
